Jani Blom began acting at the age of nine in drama club after school and later attended the prestigious Drama Program at South Latin High School in Stockholm, Sweden. While in High school, Jani got his first small role as a Revolutionary in a TV series for SVT called “Apelsinmannen”. After graduating, he was cast as Witko by one of Sweden’s most well known theatre Directors, Lars Rudolfsson, (“KRISTINA” at Carnegie Hall, London), in his play, “De Vita Korparna”, at Orion Teatern. The play was also selected to represent Sweden at the International Theatre Festival in Lisboa, Portugal. Thereafter, Jani moved to California to attend, UCSD, UCLA and completed a two-year program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Inst., Los Angeles. His American movie debut came when he was cast by Spike Lee in his movie, “Bamboozled” for New Line Cinema, whom he had dreamed of working with ever since he saw, "Do The Right Thing". He continues to work in Film, Television and on Stage in the US and Europe. Jani Blom is represented by the Impression Entertainment Group in Los Angeles.
